In Assist-Ant, a workstation refers to each individual computer where the Assist-Ant application is installed and running. This document provides an overview of Assist-Ant workstations and how they are managed.
Defining a Workstation:
- Each user's workstation is identified by a unique ID that is assigned by Assist-Ant.
- Each time you install and run Assist-Ant on a new computer, it is counted as a separate workstation.
- An active station is a workstation that has been started up on the computer within the last month.
- If one computer has multiple windows accounts - They don't affect ech other.
- If you reinstall the Assist-Ant application or switch computers, you don't need to worry about losing your saved templates or settings.
- Please read here to see what is stored on the cloud.
- Any locally saved data will be deleted upon logging out.
Managing Workstations:
- To view your station name and ID, log in to your Assist-Ant account and navigate to the "Manage Account" section.
- On the bottom left corner, you can see your station ID and you can change the nickname of the station.
Assist-Ant workstations enable you to access and synchronize your templates and data across multiple computers. By monitoring active stations and ensuring seamless transitions, Assist-Ant simplifies your workflow and enhances productivity, regardless of how many times you reinstall the app or switch computers.
